Expression Web 2

The book I read to research this post was Teach Yourself Microsoft Expression Web 2 in 24 Hours by Morten Rand Hendriksen which is a very good book which I got from the library.

Expression Web 2 is a combined HTML editor, WYSIWYG editor, authoring tool, code debugger, CSS generator and file management tool. A lot of the interface is similiar to dreamweaver and a simple website maybe just a few pages with text, photos and hyperlinks is quite easy to construct. This program came out in 2008 so it has probably been superceded by something newer. WYSIWYG is an acronym for what you see is what you get and means you get to see what your web site will look like as you build it. You should always test it in as many browsers as possible. The main ones at the moment are internet explorer, firefox, safari, chrome and opera. Because internet explorer is the most popular web browser a lot of viruses are specifically written to attack weaknesses in that program so if you use an unusual browser it is a good idea.
