VBA for Word 2007

The book I read to research this post was Brilliant VBA for Office 2007 by Paul McFedries which is a very good book I got from the library. In word & excel there is a macro recorder which if you do a lot of repetitive tasks let you do them with a single click. When you get into the very advanced stuff in microsoft office some people program in VBA which gives a lot of control over the outcome and in some circumstances when you want something very specific might be the best option. Note some viruses are written in VBA and are called macro viruses so you want to make sure in the settings on your microsoft office it doesn’t run 3rd party macros. You will usually select the text you are working with. Then macro is under view and you click the macro recording button. You name the macro. You store the macro and choose what steps you want to perform. Finally you choose stop recording.
